Harry Oakes founded International K9 Search and Rescue in 1997. Harry started volunteering in SAR at the age of 16 with Multnomah County Sheriff's office in 1972. Co founded the SAR Dog program for the state of Oregon in 1986 while a member of Portland Mountain Rescue.
We've received over 1,3865 SAR Requests from around the world since 1986.
IK9SARS is on call 24/7 to find missing persons or lost pets.
We've successfully found a missing person after a year. We found a lost pet after 14 months.
